Adoption of New Management Tools: A Giant Step Towards Standardization

It was on Saturday, the first day of November 2025, that the Executive Committee of the Compassion Burundi-Abagiramphwe Association held its meeting to adopt three new management tools:

1. The Manual of Administrative, Logistical, and Financial Procedures;

2. The Child Protection Policy;

3. The Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA).

The adoption of these three management tools followed the adoption of the Internal Regulations by the General Assembly held on September 27, 2025. The Manual of Administrative, Logistical, and Financial Procedures adopted provides general information about the Compassion Burundi-Abagiramphwe association and defines administrative management procedures, logistical management procedures, financial management procedures, as well as budgetary and accounting management procedures. The child protection policy and th prevention of sexual exploitation and abuse policy come at the right time for an organization that exists to build a better world for widows, orphans, abandoned children, and women. Thesupremet interests of the child and the vulnerable adult are thus safeguarded. With the three management tools, Compassion Burundi-Abagirampuhwe has just taken a giant step in standardizing the association with other humanitarian and development organizations.
